Before filming these videos, the students studied Lessons 1-8 of the Future 2 books and CDs. The students were given pictures and questions to review the vocabulary, grammar, and conversation. There were 48 pictures, and each picture had 3 to 4 questions. They wrote answers to the questions for homework. In class, they practiced asking and answering all of the questions with their classmates in small groups.
One of the parts of the final exam was to answer questions about these pictures. On the day of the exam, each student had an interview with the teacher for 90 seconds. Most students answered questions about two pictures. Some answered questions about three pictures. A few answered questions about one picture.
